There's shock following the announcement of the death of Mark Jamieson, one of the north west's best known press photographers.
Mark fell ill suddenly last month and had been on life support in the Royal Victoria Hospital.
The father of one died peacefully with his family by his side.
Over the years Mark won numerous awards for his photography and was a familiar face around his home town of Coleraine where for many years he was the chief photographer at the Coleraine Chronicle.

Very saddened to hear of Mark’s passing - worked with him at the Coleraine Chronicle when he was making a name for himself as an award winning snapper. https://t.co/6NcCt39spN
