Q Radio General Competition Terms & Conditions (On-air and Online)

• All contestants must be over 18 years of age and reside in Northern Ireland unless stated otherwise;
• Contestants can enter each competition only once unless otherwise stated;
• Unless otherwise stated, contestants are those who have contacted the station during the competition period and are chosen at random by the presenter in line with the advertised promotion of the competition;
• Q Radio reserves the right to request proof of a winner’s identity. If a prize winner’s contact details change, it is their responsibility to notify Q Radio;
• Prizes must be claimed within 28 days;
• Please note prizes are sent via Royal Mail normal post, special/recorded delivery services are only used at the discretion of Q Radio;
• Once all prizes are dispatched from Q Radio we are no longer are responsible
• The competition will run until the competition has been completed, this will be advertised on air or online;
• The radio station reserves the right not to give away any prize if no winner is found;
• There is only one prize per competition unless otherwise stated;
• All prizes are offered in good faith;
• Decisions relating to competitions or the redemption of prizes are at the sole discretion of management and decisions are final – no further correspondence will be entered in to. This includes questions, concerns, tiebreakers, conflicts and disputes;
• Prizes are normally provided to Q Radio by a third party or a sponsor. The liability for the delivery of the prize rests with the third party or sponsor. If the third party or sponsor cannot deliver the prize, Q Radio is not liable for its provision;
• Q Radio make no representation or warranty in relation to prizes and shall have no liability to any prize, its fitness for purpose, merchantability or otherwise. No further, additional or other costs are included in any prize, unless otherwise stated;
• To the fullest extent permissible by law, Q Radio shall not have any liability to any entrant or prize winner, however, caused, including for any costs, expenses, forfeited prizes, lost prizes, damages and other liabilities; Q Radio does not bear any liability to replace lost or misplaced prizes.
• Employees, relatives, friends and partners of Q Radio(past and present) any parent or associated companies, or any of the co-sponsors of the competition are not eligible to enter any competition;
• Q Radio reserves the right to alter or amend these rules at any time;
• Q Radio reserves the right to suspend the competition or cancel the competition at any time;
• Q Radio reserves the right to replace stated prizes at any time with prizes we consider to be of broadly equivalent value;
• There is no cash alternative to any prize and all prizes are strictly non-transferable unless otherwise stated. All prizes are subject to availability;
• Failure to gain access to competitions due to technical difficulties, engaged phone lines, or for any other reason is not the responsibility of the radio station;
• All copyright remains the property of Q Radio, including on-air broadcast and photos or images of winners;
• By entering competitions all contestants agree to be used in publicity, on-air promotion and by any means deemed fit for the promotion of the station;
• So that we can ensure the fairness of our Promotions, if you have won one prize during the previous three months then we reserve the right to withdraw from you, at our absolute discretion, any further prize awarded to you, in error or otherwise, during a period of three months (“Exclusion Period”). If you do enter any Promotion during the Exclusion Period, you may be disqualified and we reserve the right to: (i) select another entrant to participate in the Promotion; (ii) impose either a further exclusion period of twelve months from the date of your last entry attempt, or a longer or permanent ban, if we deem this necessary or appropriate; and/or (iii) disqualify your mobile phone number(s) and email addresses from future Promotions during this Exclusion Period. If you are disqualified, entry fees (if any) will not be refunded.
• No correspondence will be entered into regarding competitions. Q Radio's representative’s decision is final;
• Any contestant entering competitions giving false or misleading information will be disqualified and any prizes won will be withdrawn. This includes, but is not limited to, name, address, telephone numbers and details of previously won prizes;
• For every competition, each winner’s, and each entrant’s, personal details will be used only for the purpose of administering the competition;
• By entering the competition, the entrant gives permission for their contact details to be shared with Q Radio staff and the prize provider for the sole purpose of arranging their prize in accordance with Q Radio's data protection policy.
• Unless otherwise stated, holiday prizes consist of flights and/or accommodation only. Insurance, spending money, airport and other taxes, and other expenses are costs for the prize winner and unless otherwise stated are not part of holiday prizes. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to ensure they hold relevant and valid travel documentation, including but not limited to a passport. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to check government travel advisories and determine whether to accept the risk of travelling to the destination. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to obtain any inoculation required by the destination. Holiday prizes must be redeemed within six months unless otherwise stated and Q Radio shall not be liable or responsible for any loss or damage if a holiday prize is not redeemed, in full or in part, for any reason.
• If the prize involves the winner attending an event, Q Radio shall not be liable or responsible if any part of the event is cancelled, altered or rescheduled for any reason. If a winner cannot attend an event, Q Radio has no obligation to provide an alternative.
• If the prize stated is a 'Q Radio Outside Broadcast', our production team will require a 1 hour set up before the outdoor broadcast begins. This would require at least one person on-site to meet with the Q Radio team. 

Clip N Climb weekend competition 

• Employees of High Rise, Employers For Childcare or Q Radio are not eligible to enter the competition.
• Prize valid for 6 months
• Entitles four people (adults or children) to one weekend session at Clip ‘n Climb at High Rise Lisburn (90 minutes session, including 30 minutes briefing and 60 minutes in climbing arena).
• Clip ‘n Climb is for age 4+ (including adults) – guests must meet minimum weight requirement of 10kg and must not exceed maximum weight of 150kg.
• Minimum height for Vertical Drop Slide and Leap of Faith is 4ft/120cm.
• Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied in the pre-climbing briefing by a responsible adult.
• Guests must sign a waiver to book.
• No cash equivalent.
• Clip ‘n Climb is £12.50pp on weekdays during term-time and £14.50pp at weekends and during school holidays. Voucher amount is for £58 which will allow anyone to book 4 x weekend Clip ‘n Climb sessions (or whatever else they want to use the voucher for).

• This Gift Certificate cannot be redeemed for cash or accepted in conjunction with any other promotional offers.
• All bookings exchanged for Gift Certificates must be pre-booked by phone or via email. The Gift Certificate(s) must be presented upon check-in at the resort prior to any services being used.
• Booking subject to availability and at the discretion of the resort. We recommend checking availability of bubble domes in advance as the lead time for booking can be up to two months.
• We cannot accept responsibility for the loss or theft of Gift Certificates. Gift Certificates are not replaceable if lost, damaged, stolen or expired and are void if altered, photocopied or reproduced.
• Gift Certificates are valid for stays until the expiration date stated on your voucher and may not be redeemed beyond that period. Validity of vouchers will not be extended.
• In the event that the value of the Gift Certificate does not cover the full cost of the accommodation, food, beverages or other services provided by Finn Lough then the balance must be paid by the redeemer of the Gift Certificate to the Resort in cash or by valid debit/ credit card.

Fermanagh Family Adventure - Instagram Competition

These Competition terms and conditions are in addition to Q Radio Competition General Terms & Conditions and are referred to as the “Q Radio General Competition Terms & Conditions (On-air and Online)”. Specific competition terms and conditions and the General Terms are collectively referred to as “Terms”. Where there is a conflict between specific competition terms and Q Radio General Competition Terms & Conditions (On-air and Online), these terms prevail.

 

So that we can ensure the fairness of our Promotions, if you have won one prize during the previous three months then we reserve the right to withdraw from you, at our absolute discretion, any further prize awarded to you, in error or otherwise, during a period of three months (“Exclusion Period”). Who can enter and entry requirements:

 

The Q Radio’s ‘FERMANAGH FAMILY ADVENTURE’ Prize Draw (“Prize Draw”) in relation to the Q Radio programme (“Programme”) is open to Northern Ireland residents aged 18 years or over on the date of entry, excluding employees of the Promoter, their immediate families, and anyone else professionally connected with the Prize Draw.

 

Opening/closing date & time:

 

The Prize Draw may be made available on multiple occasions from Monday to Friday until Friday 31st December 2024 at the discretion of the Promoter (“FERMANAGH FAMILY ADVENTURE Period”), in each case in relation to a broadcast of the Programme.

 

The Prize Draw opens for entries on Monday 3^rd June 2024 and closes on the date and at the time as advertised in the Programme and online via www.qradio.com.

 

Each subsequent Prize Draw will open and close for entries on the dates and at the times advertised in the Programme and via the Website (the “Competition Dates”). 

 

You must complete your entry before the closing date and time of the Prize Draw. If you are part way through your entry when the Prize Draw closes you will not be able to complete your entry and you will not have entered the Prize Draw.

Pricing

All prices shown online are per room per night (unless otherwise stated). Prices are subject to Value Added Tax at the current rate and local tourism levies, if applicable.

Prices are subject to change without notice. However, your price is guaranteed once you receive a booking confirmation. For the avoidance of doubt, prices do not include any incidental charges, which you may incur during your stay (including, for example, in respect of your use of the hotel's bar and mini-bar facilities and the costs of external telephone calls from your room). Such charges will be payable by you on your departure and, in the event that you fail to pay any such incidental charges, it is a condition of your contract with us that you irrevocably authorise us to debit your credit or debit card (see 'Deposits and Pre-payments' below) for the amount of any shortfall.

The prices shown online are not valid in conjunction with any other offer and until you have received your confirmation number.

 

Availability

Availability of rooms at the rates shown online may be limited and/or restricted to certain periods.

 

Children

Children under the age of 4 can stay free of charge although meals may be charged separately when sharing a room with two paying adults where a suitable room is available. Children from the ages of 4 to 12 will be charged a £25 supplement per child per night for bed & breakfast, meals are charged at menu prices. Availability of suitable rooms is limited and portable beds may need to be used where such accommodation is sought. The hotel concerned will determine whether a room is suitable for the purpose of this offer. We do offer child friendly menus and these are charged as taken.

 

Guest with impaired mobility

We endeavour to offer the same high quality facilities to our less able bodied guests. Where possible, special facilities include wheelchair adapted bathrooms, ramps and lifts in public areas. Guides dogs are welcome in all our hotels. Please check with your chosen hotel if you have any special requirements. We will do our best to accommodate your wishes.

 

Car parking

Free onsite car parking is available for all guests including disabled parking. There are 4 pay per use charging points available.

 

Arrival and departure

Hotel rooms are available from 4 pm on the day of arrival. Rooms must be vacated by 12 noon on the day of departure unless otherwise sanctioned at the discretion of the Hotel Manager.

 

Health, leisure and beauty

Our leisure facilities are free for guests. Please check the availability and range of facilities at the hotel when making your booking. A charge will be made for the use of certain facilities such as beauty treatments. Your use of such facilities is subject to any particular terms and conditions applying at the hotel at which you have placed your booking. Age restrictions may apply to certain facilities and details of these are available from your chosen hotel.

We have specific terms and conditions, relating to our Manor Leisure Membership which can be obtained on enquiry with our leisure centre team.

 

Credit Card Policy

A valid Credit Card must be presented at Check-in. The name on the credit card must be the same name as the reservation.

If you fail to present a valid credit card at check-in in the same name as the reservation, the hotel reserves the right not to honour your reservation.

 

Balance of monies outstanding

On arrival, you will be asked to produce a valid credit card for the hotel to take a pre-authorisation. We accept all major credit cards, including MasterCard, Visa and American Express. Alternatively, payment can be made by cheque supported by a current cheque guarantee card. We do not accept cheques drawn from an overseas bank account.

 

Cancellations and amendments

We are delighted to invite you to check in and check out at any time on the day of your arrival after 4 pm and for departure up to 12 noon.

The reservation is guaranteed for late arrival. Should you need to cancel the reservation please let us know up to 72 hours prior to the day of arrival to avoid a cancellation charge of one night's accommodation charge. In the case of a non-arrival, a charge of one night's accommodation will be made.

Whilst every effort is made to fulfil any particular requests which you may have in relation to your stay with us, we cannot, unfortunately, guarantee that we will be able to meet any particular requests which you may make and our failure in this regard will not constitute a breach of contract.

 

In the unlikely event that we have to change or cancel your reservation, we reserve the right to do so.

However, you have the right to:

• accept the changed arrangements as notified; or
• make alternative arrangements with us; or
• cancel your reservation (please note that we shall not be liable for any sums which you have paid to any other persons in connection with your reservation).
 For the avoidance of doubt, we shall have no further liability to you for any changes to or the cancellation of any online booking.

 

Voucher Terms and Conditions

Manor House Country Hotel Vouchers are a great gift idea. Please note our terms when purchasing vouchers.

• Manor House Gift Vouchers are non-refundable and valid for twelve months from the date of issue.
• Manor House Gift Vouchers are valid against accommodation, drinks, dining or spa experiences.
• Please note that Manor House Gift Vouchers are not valid against weddings and events.

Specific Terms:

• Dining Gift Vouchers are non-transferable, non-refundable and valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
• Spa Sanctuary Gift Vouchers are valid for use in Spa Sanctuary for 12 months from the date of issue

 

Complaints or Comments

We take our guest satisfaction very seriously. Any complaint or comment regarding a stay at one of our hotels should be made in the first instance to the hotel's Duty Manager at the time of your stay so that we can attempt to resolve it immediately. Problems that cannot be resolved there and then should be notified in writing to the Operations Manager, The Manor House Country Hotel, Killadeas, Enniskillen, BT94 1NY

 

General information

Although every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information contained online, we cannot accept responsibility for any errors or omissions, and reserve the right to vary, amend, supplement or cancel any of the information or offers featured online at any time.
Subject to the paragraph immediately below, we shall not be liable to you for any loss or damage in circumstances where:

1. there is no breach of a legal duty owed to you by us or by our employees or agents;
2. such loss or damage is not a reasonably foreseeable result of any such breach;
3. any increase in loss or damage resulting from breach by you of any term of our contract;
4. any loss is more than three times the fee payable in respect of your stay.

 

Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation.

 

These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the English courts shall have jurisdiction over any matter arising out of or in connection with them.
