World Rugby has moved to make recommendations aimed at reducing the risk of coronavirus transmission in the sport.

Drastically reducing the number of scrums during a game, removing the choke tackle, limiting numbers in the maul and speeding up rucks are among 10 optional law trials approved.

Implementation of the measures will be at the discretion of individual unions based on the prevalence of the virus in their territory and specific government advice.

World Rugby chairman Sir Bill Beaumont said: "World Rugby is committed to evidence-based injury and infection preventative measures and we are fortunate to have such strong medical and research structures that inform our approach.

"The health and wellbeing of the rugby family is paramount. We have extensively evaluated the perceived risk areas within the game in partnership with our unions."

Ulster are scheduled for a return to action with inter-pro games at the Aviva Stadium in August.

Back Will Addison has told Q Radio he can't wait.

The versatile Irish international has been enjoying life in lockdown, aiming to get back to full fitness at his family farm in England. (His mum's originally from Fermanagh).

Will's been speaking to us about the prospect of playing again in the summer, why he recently decided to commit to another two years at the Kingspan Stadium, goals for the next few months - and his take on new half-back signings, Ian Madigan and All Black Alby Mathewson...

And finally, have a look at this for a lovely lockdown touch from another Ulster hero:
