There's a huge game for Linfield tonight.

The Blues face Qarabag of Azerbaijan at Windsor Park in the first leg of their Europa League play-off (7.45pm).

If they win the tie over two matches, David Healy's men would become the first Irish League side to reach the lucrative group stages of the competition.

The boss says bring it on...

It's been a dream run in Europe for the Blues, not least defender Mark Stafford who scored in the last round and has been one of the outstanding players.

Just a few short weeks ago, he thought his time at Linfield was coming to an end...

Sion Swifts recorded a statement four-goal victory over Danske Bank Women’s Premiership rivals Glentoran on Wednesday night.

Donna Kay Henry bagged a brace for the Strabane-based hosts while Kristen Desmond and Amy Carr were also among the scorers in the impressive display.

The McGuinness sisters were once again on target for Linfield as the champions maintained their title challenge with a three-goal victory at Crusaders.

Kirsty - the Blues captain and the league’s top scorer this campaign - netted twice (moving her up to 21 league strikes in 13 games) while younger sister Caitlin also found the net for her 10th league goal of the season, the fourth highest in the division.

Those two results have drastically altered the race for the title - with Sion leading the way on 35 points from 14 games, while the Blues are one point behind with a game in hand while Glentoran are a further two points further back with 15 games played.

Cliftonville moved to within seven points of the Glens, having played one game fewer, following a 3-1 home victory over Derry City.

Northern Ireland captain Marissa Callaghan twice found the target while Megan Moran also scored, with Rosie Cunningham registering for the visitors.
