Crusaders have cut Coleraine’s lead at the top of the Danske Bank Premiership to just two points with a game in hand.

It’s after the Bannsiders were held to a scoreless draw at Cliftonville on Saturday - and had Aaron Traynor sent off - while the Crues came from behind to beat Linfield 2-1.

Josh Robinson, who controversially rejected a move to Seaview in the summer, gave the Blues an early lead at Windsor Park, but Billy Joe Burns smashed a spectacular equaliser against his old club and Gavin Whyte grabbed the winner.

Here’s Crusaders manager Stephen Baxter...

Baxter has warned English and Scottish clubs he won't accept a derisory offer for flying winger Whyte, the Danske Bank Premiership's top scorer with 14 goals.

There's renewed speculation of a move across the water, but Baxter says he doesn't want a repeat performance from last season...

After consecutive derby defeats, defending champions Linfield trail leaders Coleraine by 16 points and Blues boss David Healy says there could be big changes on the way at Windsor...

In the other Saturday matches, Ballymena moved back into the top six with a 3-1 home win against Glenavon, it finished scoreless between Dungannon Swifts and Glentoran while Warrenpoint Town and Ards drew 3-3.
