Derby rivals to play in Coleraine on Saturday 1st October
Derby Rivals Coleraine and Limavady are just a few days away from their Junior Cup encounter at Sandel Park after being drawn together earlier in the month. Coleraine booked their place in the second round with a 41-10 away win over Ards, while Limavady will be playing their first game in the competition after receiving a first round bye.
Both sides head into the game after picking up wins last weekend. Coleraine put in a strong performance in their Conference league game against Armagh 2's, picking up a bonus point 28-14 win. Meanwhile Limavady swept aside Donaghadee 39-12.

The junior cup hasn't held much success in recent years for the two teams, Coleraine picking up the last of their three wins back in 1985/86 season. While Limavady have never won the competition only a solitary appearance in the final in 2009/10. So both sides will hope to make genuine strides in the competition, with a place in the quarter finals at stake.
