Bannsiders have a home quarter final against Ballyclare
Coleraine went into the hat for the quarter final draw after sweeping aside derby rivals Limavady. After their 40-8 win last weekend, Richard Boyd's men now host Ballyclare in the next round.
Head Coach Boyd has previously indicated, that he hopes to make genuine progress in this season's Junior Cup. Last year Boyd felt that the squad size wasn't quite big enough to compete on all fronts, something that has changed this season.
Coleraine have made a perfect start to the season and the Junior Cup is one of those competitions that can lead more success further on down the line. Given the Bannsider's impressive start to the season, there is genuine optimism that such success will be forthcoming.
Ballyclare booked their place in the last eight, after a 28-17 home win over Clogher Valley. Elsewhere, Portadown will take on last season's runners-up Instonians, Ballynahinch 2's will host Dromore, while CIMYS will take on Omagh.
The quarter-finals are expected to be played on or before the 5th November.
