Linfield travel to Championship club Portadown in the quarter-finals of the BetMcLean League Cup on Tuesday night.

Kick off is 7.45pm.

Manager David Healy says it's vital the Blues bounce back from Saturday's Premiership defeat at Ballymena...

The Ports, under former Linfield player Matthew Tipton, also go into the game on the back of a disappointing defeat - losing 2-0 at home against a Carrick Rangers team managed by their old boss Niall Currie.

The winners in the Shamrock Park quarter-final will go to holders Dungannon in the semis next week.

The Swifts are also in action on Tuesday evening - they go to Glenavon in the last four of the Euro Electrix Mid-Ulster Cup.

It's reported Derry City goalkeeper Gerard Doherty is set to leave the club.

The 37-year-old has been linked with a move to Irish League champions Crusaders.
