The Western Trust has launched the Recovery College Autumn 2017 prospectus, which offers a range of free educational courses and workshops designed to promote mental health well-being and recovery.
The courses are written and delivered by people with lived experiences of mental health issues, alongside those with professional experience and knowledge.
They aim to help individuals develop their personal resourcefulness and resilience, improve sel-management skills and work towards a more positive future.
Workshops offered this term include:
- Living beyond Depression and Low Mood
- Living Well with Bipolar
- Manage your Panic
- Getting a Good Night's Sleep
- Finding Your Voice
- Learning to Like Yourself
- Creative Recovery and Wellness Recovery Action Plan
Courses are free of charge and are open to everyone - those who use services, staff, carers and members of the general public.
Registration for the courses are essential for those interested.
