Two men aged 36 and 38 arrested on suspicion of the murder of Ian Ogle in East Belfast have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

A total of 9 people have been detained since the father of two was attacked in Cluan place on Sunday night  but none have been charged.

The 45 year old suffered eleven stab wounds and a fractured skull, with his family blaming members of the UVF.

The paramilitary organisation have however distanced themselves from the killing.

The community worker's funeral will take place at the Covenant Love Church on the Albertbridge Road on Monday morning.
