A five vehicle crash in Newtownabbey has left two people in hospital.
It happened near the Abbey Centre at around 12.15pm this afternoon.
Fire and rescue crews had to use cutting equipment to free one of those involved from their car.
A spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service told Q Radio: "NIAS received a 999 call at 12:18 on Wednesday 15 August 2018 following reports of a road traffic collision involving five vehicles near Longwood Road, Newtownabbey.
"NIAS despatched one Rapid Response Paramedic and two Emergency Ambulance crews to the incident.
"Following assessment and treatment at the scene, one patient was transported to Antrim Area Hospital and another was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital."
A spokesperson for Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue told us: "Firefighters attended a road traffic collision involving 5 vehicles. Using hydraulic cutting equipment they rescued a casualty trapped in one of the vehicles. 2 casualties were taken to hospital by Ambulance. The incident was dealt with at 1.26pm."
