Row erupts in Derry-Londonderry over plans for new multi million pound transport hub

A furious row has erupted in Derry-Londonderry over plans to develop the city’s new £26 million transport hub at the old Waterside Railway Station.

Translink plans to demolish the current station next to the 1870s-era listed building and refurbish and develop a multi-modal regional transport centre there.

However, Into The West Campaigner Eamonn McCann says the plans are ‘a laughing stock’.
