Petrol bombs thrown at cars in County Antrim village

Petrol bombs have been thrown at cars in Deffrick in County Antrim.

It happened in the Elizabeth Place area overnight.

The area is cordoned off while police examine the scene.

Initally the NIFRS believed that persons were trapped at the scene appliances from Coleraine Ballymoney and Ballycastle were tasked.
