Hundreds of mourners have gathered in East Belfast to bid farewell to Ian Ogle.

The 45 year old was beaten and stabbed last Sunday in the Cluan Place area of the City and died as a result of his injuries.

Floods of people lined the streets near the scene this morning, as his funeral courtege made it's way to Covenant Love Church on Albertbridge Road.

Ian Ogle is being buried at Roselawn Cemetery.

Meanwhile, last night officers investigating the murder revisited the scene one week after it happened.

They spoke with people who may have been in the area at the time of the horrific attack.

The PSNI handed out leaflets to pedestrians in the Cluan Place, Albertbridge Road and Templemore Avenue areas and placed posters on lamp posts to encourage eye witnesses to come forward and speak with detectives.

Meanwhile, a 40 year old man and a 37 year old man have been arrested on suspicion of murder as part of the investigation.

They both remain in police custody.
