A free workshop is taking place this evening to raise awareness and reduce the stigma about mental health.

It's been organised by 2-Enable, a Therapy lead Healthcare Company and Fire International as part of Mental Health Awareness Week which started on May 14th and will run until May 20th.

All proceeds will go to the mental health charity 'Bee Heard'.

The theme for the event is making the workplace less stressful and is called 'Where is your focus?'.

A spokesperson for 2-Enable said:

"During the workshop we will deliver a short, energetic, interactive, fun and informative talk from us that includes:

  • Stress and how to deal with it

  • The perils of procrastination and why we do it

  • Intuition and trust in self and more.

"Following the talk you will get an opportunity to put the learning into practice by taking part in a glass walk.

"This is optional but most people do it, even those who say no initially."

The event is free and open to 25 attendees.

The event will run from 6.30-8pm this evening at Portrush Townhall.
