A man in his sixties had a knife held to his throat during an attempted robbery in Bangor.

It's after a man burst in to a shop in the Albert Street area just after 4 yesterday afternoon.

A short time later a person matching the suspect’s description was detained while attempting to steal a bicycle in the Crosby Street area.

A 17 year-old man was arrested and remains in police custody.
