Man escapes through window during Newtownabbey burglary

A man in his twenties has escaped through the window of a flat following an aggravated burglary in Newtownabbey.

A number of men forced their way in to the property in Glenville Park around half past two this morning.

The 21 year old male occupant escaped through a window and raised the alarm.

Police later arrested two men aged 22 and 24.

Detectives are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have information about the incident to contact Detectives in Antrim on 101 quoting reference 88 08/10/18. 

Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.
