A 40-year-old man has been killed in a two-vehicle road traffic collision in Belfast.

It happened at around 8:10pm last night on the Ballygowan Road, outside Roselawn Cemetery.

Police are appealing for witnesses, especially the driver of a dark-coloured car which is believed to have been in the vicinity at the time.

Councillor Tim Morrow has expressed his condolences.

Anyone with any information is being urged to contact detectives on non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 1212 of the 13th January 2018.
