Gideon Kipsang from Kenya and North Down Athletic Club's Jessica Craig took the top honours at the Bangor 10k.
This morning's race was put on in association with Belfast City Airport.
A spokesperson told us: "Gideon finished with an impressive time of 30.21. In a neck and neck photo finish, he was followed closely by Olympian Kevin Seaward, also with a time of 30.21 and Declan Reed from City of Derry track club, who completed the race in 30.57.
Adding that "In the women’s race, Jessica Craig was first across the line in a time of [36.44]. Gladys Ganiel from the North Belfast Harriers, who a recorded a time of 37.13, was second with Laura Bickerstaff in third, completing the race in 38.03."
Tony Wall, Chairman of North Down Athletic Club which organised the race, said:
"The atmosphere in Bangor today has been incredible, with more than 1,000 runners from across the country and beyond coming out to compete against each other and break personal bests.
"We encouraged all abilities to take part and the range of people who came out today was fantastic to see. Each participant should be proud of themselves.
"We are extremely grateful to Belfast City Airport for its ongoing support, helping to grow the race year on year."
