The heartbroken former partner of a man stabbed to death almost two years ago says she's devastated the murder trial could be moved from Newry to Belfast.
33-year-old Brian Phelan, from Bessbrook, was killed on the outskirts of Newry in July, 2018.
The man due to face trial, 28-year-old Daniel Carroll, with an address at Edward Street in Portadown, denies murdering him.
The case was due to be heard in Newry, but an application has been made for it to be moved to Belfast. It's understood the accused feels he is under threat.
Newry woman Amanda O'Riordan is the mother of Brian Phelan's two young children.
She says the family "would be denied proper justice if the trial isn't held where the crime was committed, as is standard procedure."

A decision will be held on the location of the trial on Friday week, March 6th.
