Four men have been arrested on suspicion of a range of drug and driving offences in Belfast.

Police stopped a car on the Malone Road in South Belfast at around 10pm last night, following a tip off from a member of the public.

Three men aged 40, 38 and 34 were arrested at the time.

Follow up searches were carried out at four properties in both North and South Belfast but nothing was found at two of them.

Suspected controlled drugs were seized at a house in the Deerpark Road area.

Meanwhile, a 32 year old man was arrested and a quantity of suspected Class A drugs and drug paraphernalia were found at a property in the Downhill Avenue area.
