The Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council is giving local artists the chance to showcase their work in a unique exhibition

Alderman Maura Hickey is planning to put the pieces on display in the Mayor’s Parlour in Cloonavin from April 7th to June 2nd.

Speaking about the initiative she said: “The Causeway Coast and Glens area has a rich and diverse wealth of artistic talent, and I hope this exhibition helps to give it the prominence it deserves. The Mayor’s Parlour is a fantastic space, and provides the ideal setting for local artwork. It hosts numerous engagements every week, and an exhibition like this will bring the talent of our local artists to an even wider audience.”

Only artists who currently live in the Borough will be eligible to take part in the exhibition. A short application form and photographic evidence of proposed artwork must be submitted by February 24th.

The final exhibition pieces will be selected by a panel including the Mayor.
