The daughter of IRA murder victim Jean McConville has passed away.
Agnes McConville died at Daisy Hill Hospital on Sunday night surrounded by her family, following a battle with cancer.
Jean, who was a mother to 10 children, was kidnapped from her home in West Belfast in 1972 by the IRA.
She was shot and secretly buried but her body wasn't found until 2003 at a beach in County Louth.
Jean McConville was one of nine people who later became known as the "Disappeared".
According to the Wave Trauma Centre, Agnes was 13 years old when her mum Jean was abducted.
Agnes McConville was 13 years of age when her mum Jean was abducted. She never forgot her mum & never missed a Mass to remember all those Disappeared. One of her final visits before she died yesterday was to her mum and dad’s grave to bring flowers. May she rest in peace. #FOTD pic.twitter.com/Fj9B9eWJwZ
