The Causeway Coast and Glens Councillor says the Village has been 'ignored by statutory bodies'

Darryl Wilson wants to see immediate work done to improve the village of Seacon (Se-Con) near Ballymoney.  The Causeway Coast and Glens Councillor says the village has been 'largely forgotten by the statutory bodies'

Mr Wilson says that parts of Seacon have been 'left to become derelict over the past few years'.  And he says that even the most basic of infrastructure work on the village would go a long way.

"There are broken fences, unkempt grasslands and then the kerbings and parking spaces are riddled with weeds" said Cllr Wilson "It's very unsightly and seems to have been missed out"

Cllr Wilson has called upon the likes of Roads NI, Water NI and the Causeway Coast and Glens Council to make a 'joint approach' to improve the village.  He added that he has numerous friends in the village who have contacted him about the conditions in the village
