Stalls on each campus raising awareness of the dangers and risks associated with carbon monoxide

The Ulster University Student Union is currently running a Carbon Monoxide Awareness Week.  Running until Thursday, the week long programme hopes to educate students about the risks and dangers associated with Carbon Monoxide.

Each of the four campuses will have information stalls, giving out leaflets.  The information leaflets by the Health and Safety Executive along with the 'Gis a Hug Foundation' advise students on what Carbon Monoxide is, what the symptoms are like and how people can keep themselves safe.

The 'Gis a Hug Foundation' is a charity set up by the families of Neil McFerran and Aaron Davidson, who tragically lost their lives to carbon monoxide poisoning in Castlerock on 3rd August 2010.The foundation aims to educate the public about the risks of Carbon Monoxide and provide relief to organisations that promote CO awareness safety.
