Bushmills woman convicted of benefit fraud

Isobel Wilson (57) of Dunluce Court, Bushmills was convicted at Coleraine Magistrates’ Court on Friday

A woman was convicted at Coleraine Magistrates’ Court on Friday for claiming benefits she was not entitled to.

57 Year-old Isobel Wilson of Dunluce Court, Bushmills claimed Jobseeker's Allowance and Housing Benefit totalling £4,246 while failing to declare employment. She was given a Conditional Discharge of three years.

She is also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Department for Communities.
