Belfast Lord Mayor opens "book of condolence" for Spanish terror victims

A book of condolence has been opened at Belfast city Hall in memory of the victims of the Spanish terror attacks.

Lord Mayor, Nuala McAllister was the first person to sign in the book.

Meanwhile, the government's looking into reports that a British dual-nationality child is believed to be missing following the terror attacks in Spain.

Fourteen people are now known to have been killed following the death of a woman hurt in yesterday's attacks.

A father and son from Ireland suffered leg injuries in Las Ramblas and remain in hospital in Barcelona. 

Irish Foreign Minister Simon Coveney says people need to remain vigilant, but resiliant.
