310 PSNI employees are currently off work as a result of COVID-19, with 251 members of staff, including officers, self isolating.

Over 5,300 penalties have now been handed out since March.

That includes 2,101 COV1 penalty notices - however, these are no longer issued. This is because penalty levels have increased and additional offences have been introduced.

The new replacement COV4 fines, starting at £200, have now been handed out 923 times.

791 COV2 prohibition notices have also been issued to 135 commercial premises and 656 after restrictions were allegedly broken in terms of gatherings in private dwellings.

49 people have been fined £1,000 after they failed to self isolate.

25 COV5 penalty notices have been issued to a business and/or premises for breach of the regulations (starting at £1,000 to a max of £10,000)

Meanwhile, PSNI officers have handed out 1,476 Community Resolution Notices.
