Q Radio is proud to be the new official radio partner of the 2026 Phoenix Energy Belfast City Marathon, one of Northern Ireland’s largest and most inspiring community events.
The partnership was officially launched at Templemore Baths, where Q Radio Drive presenter Ibe Sesay hosted an event celebrating the start of an exciting new chapter for the marathon series.
Taking place on Sunday 3rd May 2026, the Phoenix Energy Belfast City Marathon is expected to welcome more than 24,000 participants, bringing people together from every county and every pace of life to share in the spirit of community, determination and celebration.
As the official radio partner, Q Radio will be keeping runners, walkers and supporters connected across Northern Ireland with live race day coverage, presenter updates and real-time travel information. New for 2026, Q Radio will also introduce Cheer Stations along the route, bringing music, energy and encouragement to participants from start to finish.
