The driver has picked up his fare of two men and a woman on the Ballymena Road, at around 12.30am this morning and took them to Junction One.

The trio then made off.

A short time later, police received reports of a break in at a burger van in the Springfarm area and criminal damage at a shop on the Ballymena Road.

A 20-year-old was detained and remains in custody this morning.
