Linfield captain Jamie Mulgrew is set to return to action after almost two months out with a troublesome thigh injury.

The midfielder could be part of the Blues panel for Saturday's Windsor Park match with Warrenpoint Town.

And he's determined to make it for the traditional 'Big Two' Boxing Day showdown against Glentoran at the Oval.

The stand-out fixture this weekend is third against second with Glenavon hosting Crusaders.

Crues boss Stephen Baxter says he expects a battle for the points at Mourneview Park.

Another top six clash is Cliftonville against Glentoran at Solitude.

League leaders Coleraine are away to the bottom club, Ballinamallard.

Ballymena welcome Carrick Rangers and Ards travel to Dungannon Swifts.

All the games kick-off at 3pm.
