Midfielder Harry Monaghan has committed to Derry City for another season.
The Candystripes have secured the Glaswegian's services until at least the end of the 2017 season.
The 23 year old's time with Derry has been blighted by injury, he said:
“In every aspect, we want to go one better, we had two ‘semis’, so why not go for the finals next year.
“Last year the pre-season was brilliant and I’m looking forward to getting going again.”
Delighted to have my future sorted for next season! Great to be back at @derrycityfc for the coming year...

Manager Kenny Shiels welcomed the signing, he said:
“Harry’s season was interrupted with injury, but we could see the potential he brings to the team and it’s good to get him back on, it’s like a new signing,” said the City gaffer.
“We are trying to grow our squad, we had 14/15 players at training on Monday and 10 of those were in their early 20’s, which is good and it lends itself to a good future.
“We want to make sure that we don’t neglect the players that we have by bringing in players from outside.”
