A woman's been threatened by a man with a gun during an aggravated burglary in Holywood.
It happened in the Clarehill Lane area, off the Old Holywood Road, shortly before midnight last night
The intruder got away with money.
He's described as being in his early 20's, and was wearing a cap, a black puffa jacket, and grey bottoms.
Detective Sergeant Westbury said:
“It’s believed the man entered the property, and pointed a firearm at the female occupant. He subsequently made off with a sum of money, possibly on foot."
“The suspect is described as being aged in his early twenties, wearing a cap, a black puffer-type jacket and grey bottoms."
“While the woman wasn’t physically injured, this would have been a terrifying experience."
