It happened in the Harcourt Drive area yesterday evening
A seventeen-year-old male has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after an incident in Belfast.
It happened in the Harcourt Drive area in the north of the city shortly before 7pm last night.
Police had received a report of a man stabbed in the face close to the junction with Manor Street.
The 19-year-old was taken to hospital with a serious laceration to his cheek.
His condition is described as stable.
