A man has been arrested in Newry in connection with violent dissident republican activity.
He was detained after a house was searched in the Derrybeg area this morning.
The 45 year-old suspect is currently being questioned at Musgrave Serious Crime suite.
Inspector Adam Corner from the Newry Neighbourhood Policing team explained, “Police are committed to tackling all forms of criminality and issues of serious crime in our community.
