Loughgiel's hurlers preparing for match with Down

In Antrim's Senior Hurling Championship - and Loughgiel Shamrocks will now face Down champions Ballygalget in the Ulster semi-finals on October 9th.

It's after edging out defending champions Ruari Og, Cushendall by three points in |Ballycastle.

Shamrocks rookie manager Johnny Campbell has told the Irish News the hardest part of his first year in charge was having to leave players out of the team!
