Ulster take on the interprovincial rivals on Friday night at the Kingspan Stadium

After recovering from a foot injury, Ulster Rugby joint-skipper Andrew Trimble is available for selection for Friday night's Pro12 game at home to Connacht.

Prop Kyle McCall and lock Pete Browne have been ruled out meanwhile.

McCall will see a surgeon about his hamstring injury, while Browne sustained a concussion on Sunday's game.

Les Kiss' men lost 38-19 away to Clermont Auvergne in the European Champions Cup.

Back row Sean Reidy says they must put memories of the weekend defeat to bed.
