The match against Hong Kong resumes at Stormont today

The Irish cricket side battled to a 316 all out score at Stormont on Tuesday.  It was day one in their ICC Intercontinental Cup match with Hong Kong.  Hong Kong had begun their reply, and were 2/0 at the close of play.

Ireland's Gary Wilson came close to a century, eventually being the last man out on 95.  Hong Kong had a tricky seven overs to face before play came to an end, but came through them unscathed.

Ireland have won the Intercontinental Cup a record four times and the tournament is a key aspect in Ireland's continued push towards Test status.

Ireland and Hong Kong will play a Twenty20 series next week.
