Former Cliftonville striker Liam Boyce could be set to start for Northern Ireland in Friday's friendly against New Zealand at Windsor Park.

Jamie Ward and Conor Washington are both ruled out of the warm-up fixture for the June 10th World Cup qualifier in Azerbaijan.

Manager Michael O'Neill says Boyce impressed him as he topped the goalscoring charts in the Scottish Premiership with Ross County.

Kyle Lafferty is included in the squad even though he's currently unattached after being released by Norwich City.

O'Neill says it's important for the 29-year-old to find the right club.
