Marcell Coetzee will make his debut for Ulster at home to Edinburgh in the Pro12 on Friday night.

The South African forward will make his highly-anticipated debut after recovering from a knee injury sustained last April.

He has 28 international caps, and will start at number 8 against Edinburgh.

Les Kiss has named a strong side to take on the Scottish team, and they're aiming for their first win of 2017.

Meanwhile Peter Nelson will be in the number ten jersey, back for the first time in 15 months- he was sidelined with a serious foot injury.

Stuart Olding is another player making his return from injury, having not featured since the Exeter fixture in October - he will link up with Darren Cave in midfield.

Chris Henry will captain the side from openside flanker.

Speaking on Q Radio and Ulster Rugby's 'The Breakdown' podcast, Darren Cave says he's excited to have him in the side.
