It's emerged a 14 year old west Belfast schoolgirl has been ordered out of Northern Ireland by dissident republicans.
A group calling itself Óglaigh na hÉireann issued the threat to the girl and her two brothers.
Speaking to The Sunday Life, the young girl’s grandparents spoke about the heartache the threats have caused. Such is the fear that the family has since fled the area.
The PSNI says it doesn't comment on matters of individual security.
However, a family spokesperson confirmed that the police had advised the family to consider reviewing its security.
The exiled child’s older brother was shot in both legs in a paramilitary-style attack in the Aitnamona Crescent area of Turf Lodge days before Christmas.
The 16-year-old boy — whose family openly admit has been involved in anti-social behaviour — was found by a pensioner who heard him moaning in pain. He and his 18-year-old brother, like their younger 14-year-old sister, are also under threat from ONH .
The family have since contacted victims' campaigner Raymond McCord.
