The funeral has taken place of Francis Lagan, the school principal killed last week after a falling tree struck his car in Antrim as Storm Arwen swept across the region.
Requiem mass was celebrated for Mr. Lagan at St. Patrick's church in Maghera where mourners lined the streets in honour of the popular St. Mary's Primary School head teacher.
Tributes to him were led by his wife Louise.
She said he was "frankly the very best husband and most loving, endearing daddy to our children."
His school described him as a "much loved principal," adding: "May his gentle soul rest in peace."
Mourners thronged the area outside the church, with scores of people lining the streets to pay their respects to the much-loved father.
