Two new sexual health clinics to open in Ulster University

A sexual health clinic will launch today for the first time in Coleraine and Jordanstown University campuses.

The Northern Health and Social Care Trust has teamed up with the Ulster University to provide free services like contraception and Sexually Transmitted Infection testing. 

Rates of STIs and unplanned pregnancy are increasing in Northern Ireland.

A Clinical Lead Nurse for Sexual Health Services hopes to improve sexual health knowledge of young people.

Claire Galloway says the lack of access to services are resulting in this increase.
