Three people have been arrested in connection with the discovery of a viable device in Enniskillen on St.Patrick's day.

It's part of an investigation into violent dissident republican activity linked to the Continuity IRA.

At the time, police said the "small but crude" viable device was found in the Lough Shore Path area on 17th March.

A 42-year-old man was arrested in Irvinestown, Co. Fermanagh this morning, while a 27-year-old man and 29-year-old woman were detained in Castlederg, Co. Tyrone.

All three are being held under the Terrorism Act and have been taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite for questioning.
