Teen accused in fatal scrambler accident named

Gary Lewis, from west Belfast, has been charged with death by dangerous driving and using a motor vehicle without insurance. 

The 18 year old was driving a scrambler motorbike when he struck mum of three Valerie Armstrong. 

She was walking her dog in Colin Glen Forest Park on the evening of Tuesday 19th July when the incident happened. 

Mr Lewis will next appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on September 14th.
