The counts are complete and the results of this years General Election have been announced.
Sinn Féin were fortunate enough to gain seats for both constituencies at the count centre in Omagh today.
Barry McElduff was elected with 22,060 votes; the most votes ever received in West Tyrone.
That's almost double the amount of votes that runner up, Tom Buchanan of the DUP received.
11,718 people in West Tyrone voted for Buchanan.
Mr McElduff is new to the position of MP as the seat was held for 16 years by Pat Doherty, Sinn Féin, who stepped down last month.
Meanwhile, Tom Elliott of the UUP lost the seat for Fermanagh South Tyrone to Michelle Gildernew.
(Michelle Gildernew announced elected candidate for Fermanagh South Tyrone)
He won the seat back in 2015 from Ms Gildernew who held it for 11 years prior.
The votes were closer in this constituency in comparison to West Tyrone, however there was still a difference of 875 votes between the elected candidate and runner up.
Michelle Gildernew received 25230 votes, where Tom Elliott received 24355 votes.
