Two academics from Queen's University in Belfast will discuss the potential risks posed by Brexit with The Joint Committee on the Implementation of the Good Friday Agreement.

Political scientist David Phinnemore and sociologist Katy Hayward will begin their presentation at 2.15pm today, at Leinster House in Dublin.

Both have previously written on how both the UK and the Republic being in the EU was a core part of the 1998 agreement, and how Brexit could destabilise what has been achieved.
