Following the terrorist attack in London last night, PSNI Chief Constable George Hamilton has extended his condolences to all of those who have lost loved ones and to those injured.

CC Hamilton said: “My thoughts and sympathies are with the people of London following this horrendous attack. We also send our support to our colleagues in the Metropolitan Police, City of London Police, British Transport Police and all the emergency services that responded last night.”

Seven people were killed and 48 injured, some of them seriously, when a van was driven into pedestrians on London Bridge, and others were stabbed in Borough Market.
