Police are appealing for information after gravestones were damaged at a cemetery in Ballymena.
It happened in the Crebilly Road area of the town.
The PSNI is calling the attack absolutely despicable.
Inspector Michelle Adams said: “Damage to any grave is absolutely despicable. A graveyard is a place where people come to pay their respects. This behaviour and the destruction of graves will have a significant impact on individuals, families and communities.
“We have launched an investigation but need help from the community to bring those responsible before the courts. If you saw anyone acting suspiciously in the cemetery from Monday evening through to 1pm on Tuesday, or if you have information that could assist our investigation, please contact us on the non-emergency number 101 quoting reference 1146 of 25/05/21.

Sinn Féin MLA Philip McGuigan has condemned the desecration of the burial sites.
The North Antrim MLA said:
“This attack on graves at the cemetery at Kirkinriolla parish is disgraceful and should be condemned by all.
“Cemeteries are places where people find solace and feel closer to their lost loved ones and this desecration of graves will no doubt add to the hurt and pain of grieving families.
“The PSNI are investigating this attack and I would encourage anyone with information to bring it forward so that those responsible can be brought to justice.”
