A Breast cancer charity in Northern Ireland is marking its 10 year anniversary.

Pretty 'n' Pink is marking the occassion with a fundraiser next week.

Organisers are hoping to raise thousands of pounds to help support women diagnosed with the illness.

Their services include help with travel costs to and from hospital appointments, help to purchase post-surgery clothing and help with home heating and utility bills.

They also office respite breaks and social outings as well as raise awareness of the condition.

Businesses, families and groups of friends are being urged to get together on the 17th - 23rd October, and think Pink!

Ideas being put forward are pink-themed coffee mornings, wearing pink to work for the day, and even turning your business pink.

Board member and sister of Founder, Noleen Adair, Leanne Rooney, said: “Since Noleen passed away two years ago, the mantle has been passed to the Pretty ‘n’ Pink team to carry on Noleen’s sterling work, delivering much-needed financial assistance to breast cancer patients here.

"Our charity is dependent on fundraising and we’re extremely grateful for every penny that we’ve received from the public."
